I had my roof replaced a year ago. The shingles had copper granules in them to prevent moss. With the rain barrel system being developed I've wondered if there is enough copper to cause harm to fish or live food cultures. Here's my first test, 100% rain water from the roof with daphnia and mosquito larvae. So far no losses, daphnia are very sensitive creatures. They are often used in aquatic toxicology tests. #aquaculture #goldfishunion #goldfishjunkie #daphnia #fishpond #fishbreeders #goldfishbreeders #goldfishkeepers
