With lots of fry to cull this net has become a necessity. Like the Jedi's lightsaber, which they make themselves, this net as taught me about the observation of details and the simplicity of form.
So I harvest some bamboo from the yard, gathered up the stainless and polyester net and thread and set to creating this tool. It is made of bamboo I grew. 3 materials to make a perfect net. The hoop is 5 inches, 316 stainless 3/32" rod, the net is 1/16th inch polyester, the cup of the net is 3/4 inch deep and the total length is 16 inches.
It spins like a top in your hand and has a balancing point the reduces hand strain for long culling sessions.

Stainless wire wrapping to secure the hoop to the handle
316 stainless will last many lifetimes of Ranch
and maybe one or two for me.
The branches act as a stand or hanger. The hoop and branches
are in the same plane for a stable tripod stance.
