The metallic x metallic are much more pigmented than the metallic x bluebelly. Their Melanocytes are significantly retracted due to handling and lighting. In tank the mxm are significantly darker than the mxbb.

Yellows break in

To day I found 2 or three pairs of the Israeli yellows in a floating nursery bowl. The bowl has 4 grass mats with eggs about to hatch and was floating in the adult tank. The spawners managed to get eggs all I've the rim of the bowl, sink it and get new eggs all over the bowl and grass mats. Even though they could swim out of the bowl they were under the spawning mats.

I made this up today of spare parts to do water changed on the Israeli yellow fry. It siphons the tank to about a 1/4 inch deep and leave the fry behind.
