Itoh (Hater) TVR BBR 11/10.  They've been eating Goldfish Scramble Take Two all day long.

Just make sure your filter can handle it!

Goldfish Scramble Take Two

Goldfish Scramble Take Two

5 duck eggs

1 cup baby spinach

1/2 cup edamame
1/2 cup wheat germ

1/2 cup oats

12 cloves garlic

Tsp garlic powder

Tsp paprika

Tablespoon squid sauce

Blend till smooth.  Pour 1/2 a cup into a ziplock bag.

Boil until firm.

Finished. Ready to feed or freeze.

Extruded through the garlic press for feeding.

5 More Laguna Ponds

Just drove to Portland and back with 5 more Large Laguna ponds! That's enough for two rows of 5! Now I just have to get rid of stuff to make room. Can't wait to have Ranchu in them.

A New Toy: Kodak Play Sport ZX3

Goldfish Scramble

This video is of the first feeding. They've never seen steamed egg before and they love it.

Two home grown duck eggs, soy beans and garlic ran through a garlic press. Scramble in the bowl, then double boiled to cook, stirring occasionally, with the lid on.

Finished product.

Passed through the press for bbr.

Suzuki x Kageyama Culls

15x beautiful Suzuki x Kageyama too view Ranchu. Great fish and too views just missing anal fins. They'll make amazing pets. Some in top view are better than fish I kept for myself (but have double anal fins for thicker tails). These fish are for sale as pet grade fish. Other than missing an anal fin they are supper nice and a rare chance to get top quality known japanese bloodlines.

Suzuki x Kageyama Sort

Culled the 25% fish missing anal fins, sorted by one or two anal fins picked my group then did an Eni Meeni Mini Mo sort, did a bit more sorting to make the groups even, assigned a letter to each and asked the recipients to rank their favorite group A, B, C without seeing the fish. It's amazing how after sorting fish for hours all you see are the flaws.

This is a batch of BBR for me and a few friends. They are BBR Suzuki X Kageyama bred by Paul at Ranchu Maniax with stocks obtained from Boss Ranchu Thailand.

Hattori Top View Ranchu spawned November 2010 by Hater from Ranchumaniax/Boss Ranchu stock.  Kept in 20 gallon long with 4 inches of water on central recirculating system.

Shallow BBR Tank

Set up more shallow tanks. Used perforated pipe to calm the inflow which is at max flow. Very little current in the tank but with the low volume and high flow they can be feed all day long without water quality issues.

The fish are November 2010 Itoh (Hater).

Sleep culling

Last night I apparently got out of bed and mumbled something about culling bbr (baby black Ranchu). I was told to get back into bed and I retorted with what was wrong with a particular fish.
