Blue Tubs Removed

Draining the system.  A nice batch of Bristol (Parker) Spawn 2 came out of this tub.

Itoh and Hattori in the corner.

Blue Egg Phoenix and Bristol mutants in the left tank.

Moving out.

Site resurfaced with 1/4" #10 gravel.  Two Large Laguna tubs will move back in here.

Laguna PT788 42x28.5x12 60 gallon basin

These are a smaller version of the Laguna PT796 injection molded pond basin.   They are Laguna PT788 42x28.5x12 60 gallon basin.  Found this stack of 8 on Portland's Craig's list and the seller was motivated enough to deliver them to Eugene.  A nearly 4 hour round trip I was not up for making in this 95 F degree weather.
Here is the Laguna Tag.

One of the tubs.

A look at the injection molded reinforcement.

They nest perfectly.

8 of the tubs.

A full cart.

The big tubs dwarf them.

And from the inside.

Ideal for deck ponds or raising Ranchu!

The specifications.

Tub Covers

These are two Laguna tubs, two 8 foot suntuff polycarbonate roofing panels.
Keeps the heat in, debris out and a couple c clamps and it's raccoon proof. Had 5 to 8 raccoons in the yard last night.

5 More Laguna Ponds

Just drove to Portland and back with 5 more Large Laguna ponds! That's enough for two rows of 5! Now I just have to get rid of stuff to make room. Can't wait to have Ranchu in them.

The New Favorite Ranchu Tub

Just bought 5 of these tubs which were lightly used by a pet store for fish or bunnies and guinea pigs. They are 70x47x23 inch, 341 gallon free standing pond by Leguna. Well built of heavy duty hdpe/hdpp.
The label says 195 gallon but they are actually 341 gallons.
Here are the tank details:

Five Lightly Used Laguna Ponds PT796

Approximately 6x4x2 black molded ponds. Much better suited to goldfish than the rabbits and guinea pigs that were housed in them at a pet store. Oh yeah and under the pond is my 200 gallon insulated bonar box with about 200 large common and sarassas.
